About Shiksha Sanjeevani Bima Yojana 2025
Rajasthan Education and Panchayati Raj Minister Madan Dilawar launched Shiksha Sanjeevani Bima Yojana in Udaipur on 26 February 2025. Under this scheme, students whose parents have died in an accident will be given insurance coverage of Rs 1 lakh. About 1.3 lakh students will get the benefit of this scheme in Udaipur, Rajasthan. Under this initiative, the government aims to provide insurance coverage to a total of 1 crore student across the state. So that students continue their education even after the death of their parents. The insurance amount will be transferred directly to the bank account of the beneficiary student. If the student’s guardian dies due to an accident, the scholarship, along with interest,t will also be provided to the child till the age of 18 years.

The main objective of launching Shiksha Sanjeevani Bima Yojana is to provide insurance coverage for education to the students of Rajasthan so that their studies are not affected in case of an emergency.
