Atmanirbhar Assam List 2024
Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has launched the Atmanirbhar Assam scheme to establish self-employment for unemployed citizens of the state. Under this scheme, the government will provide financial assistance to more than 25,000 unemployed youth of the state aged between 28 to 40 years to establish self-employment. This amount will be given to the selected beneficiaries as financial assistance of Rs 1 lakh in the form of a subsidy and Rs 1 lakh in the form of an interest-free loan. Which will have to be paid in five years. Unemployed youth of the state will be able to become self-reliant and empowered by establishing self-employment. Those citizens of the state who have applied under this scheme can avail the benefits of the scheme by checking their names in the list. Only those citizens whose names will be on the selection list will be provided the benefit of this scheme.

The main objective of the Atmanirbhar Assam List is to easily provide the benefits of this scheme to the unemployed youth of the state. Unemployed youth can easily avail the benefits of the scheme by checking their names in the list. Under this scheme, benefits will be provided only to those beneficiaries whose names will be on the list. More than 25000 beneficiaries of the state will be selected under the Chief Minister Atmanirbhar Assam scheme. Eligibility Criteria for Atmanirbhar Assam Scheme
- Applicant must be a permanent resident of the Assam state.
- The age of unemployed youth should be between 28 to 40 years.
- The maximum age limit for SC, ST, and OBC categories has been increased to 43 years.
- Applicant must be at least 10th pass.
- The applicant should not have defaulted on any loan from cooperative and nationalized banks in the past.
- Applicant must be currently registered with the Employment Exchange.
- The applicant’s bank account should be opened maximum before 31 December 2023.
