Banglar Bari Awas Yojana 2025
Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has started Banglar Bari Awas Yojana to provide financial assistance for housing to every family of the state. Through this scheme, financial assistance of Rs 120,000 will be provided to the citizens of the state to build houses. This financial assistance amount will be transferred directly to the bank account of the beneficiary in three installments. The state government has allocated a budget of Rs 13800 crore under this scheme. The benefit of this scheme will be given to 1.5 lakh families in the state. The Chief Minister said that according to estimates, there are 36 lakh mud houses in the state which will be converted into pucca houses in the next two to three years so that he can fulfill his dream of building a permanent house.
