Telangana government has started the Indiramma Illu Housing Scheme Phase 1 to provide housing benefits to the citizens of the state. Telangana Government released the final beneficiary list of the housing initiative Indiramma Illu Housing Scheme 2025 on the official website indirammaindlu.telangana.gov.in on 23 January 2025. The scheme has been implemented to specifically target transgenders, sanitation workers, agricultural workers, Dalits, and disabled citizens. The main objective of this initiative is to reduce the number of homeless citizens across the state.
About Indiramma Illu Housing Scheme Phase 1
The Telangana government launched the Indiramma Illu Housing Scheme for the homeless citizens of the state on March 11, 2024. Under this scheme, the government will provide financial assistance of Rs 5 lakh to each selected citizen. So that he can fulfill his dream of building his own house. In the Indiramma Illu Housing Scheme Phase 1, the Telangana government will build 4.5 lakh houses, comprising 3,500 units in each of the 119 constituencies. These houses will have a minimum area of 400 square feet and will have an RCC roof, a kitchen, and a toilet to ensure basic living standards. Telangana government has allocated a budget of Rs 22000 crore for this scheme. To speed up the process, the Telangana government has released a Mobile Application for application verification.

The main objective of Indiramma Illu Housing Scheme Phase First is to provide permanent housing to homeless citizens as soon as possible. So that he can live in his permanent house with his family. 4.50 lakh houses will be constructed under the scheme
