LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship Scheme 2024
Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) has launched LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship Scheme for economically weaker students. Through this scheme, scholarship will be provided to students who have completed 10th/12th/Diploma or Medicine, Engineering, Graduation in any discipline with minimum 60% or equivalent CGPA. In which students doing 10th and 12th will get Rs 15,000 per year and graduation students will get Rs 20,000 per year and Rs 40,000 per year for selected scholars pursuing higher education in the field of Medicine (MBBS, BAMS, BHMS, BDS) and Rs 30,000 per year for selected scholars pursuing higher education in the field of Engineering (BE, B.Tech, B.Arch). LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship Scheme Objective
The main objective of LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship Scheme is to provide scholarship in the form of financial assistance to economically weaker students. Through which students will be able to complete their education. And by standing on our own feet we will be able to make our future bright and become self-reliant without depending on others. This scheme will prove to be very effective for the welfare of the students. By availing benefits under this scheme, students will be able to complete their education and become self-reliant and empowered.
Application process starts from December 8, 2024
Scholarship is provided to the students under LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship Scheme. Eligible students who want to apply under this scheme. He can apply from 8 December 2024. The last date to apply under this scheme has been fixed as December 22, 2024. Students who want to apply under this scheme can avail the benefits by applying first before 22nd December.

DURATION
Scholarship shall be provided for the entire duration of the course under General Scholarships and for two years under Special Girl Scholar, subject to the candidate fulfilling requisite eligibility conditions for renewal.
Eligibility Criteria
[A]. General Scholarship
a) After Class 12th (XII):
1. All candidates who have passed Class XII exam (or its equivalent – Regular/Vocational) / Diploma with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA grade in the Academic Year 2021-22/2022-23/2023-24, and
2. Have taken admission in the academic year 2024-25 for pursuing first year degree course in the field of Medicine, Engineering, Graduation in any discipline, Integrated Courses, Diploma Course in any field or other equivalent courses, Vocational Courses through Government recognized Colleges /Institutes or courses in Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs), and
3. The annual income of the student’s family should not exceed Rs 2,50,000 lakh.
b) – After Class 10th (X):
1. All candidates who have passed Class X exam (or its equivalent) with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA grade in the Academic Year 2021-22/2022-23/2023-24.
2. Have taken admission in the academic year 2024-25 for pursuing first year education in the field of Vocational / Diploma Courses through Govt. recognized colleges/institutions or courses in Industrial Training Institutes (ITI).
3. The annual income of the student’s family should not exceed Rs 2,50,000 lakh.
[B]. Special Scholarship for Girl Child (For Two Years)
1. Female Candidates who have passed Class X exam (or its equivalent) with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA grade in the Academic Year 2021- 2022/2022-23/2023-24, and
2. Have taken admission in the academic year 2024-25 for pursuing higher studies in the first year of Intermediate/10 + 2 pattern/ Vocational or Diploma Courses through Government recognized colleges/ institutions or courses in Industrial Training Institutes (ITI) for two years, and
3. The annual income of the student’s family should not exceed Rs 2,50,000 lakh..
