Namo Lakshmi Yojana Payment Status 2024
Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel has started the Namo Lakshmi Yojana for the female students of the state. Under this scheme, financial assistance of Rs 50,000 will be provided to girl students from class 9th to 12th. The government has allocated Rs 1,250 crore under this scheme in this year’s budget. This assistance amount will be transferred directly to their bank account through DBT. So that female students can get a proper education without worrying about financial problems. The benefit of this scheme will be given to 10 lakh girl students of the state for which Rs 138 crore will be distributed. To avail of the benefits of this scheme, interested girl students will have to visit its official website and fill out the application form.
Under the Namo Lakshmi scheme, Rs 500 per month will be given per student for 10 months each in classes 9 and 10. The remaining amount of Rs 10,000 will be given after passing the class 10 board exam. Rs 750 per month will be given for 10 months each in class 11th and 12th. The remaining Rs 15,000 will be given after passing the Class-12 board exam.
