This program by the government is designed to equip recent graduates from both urban and rural areas with advanced industry-relevant skills in emerging technologies. Nipuna Karnataka Scheme Objective
The main objective of the Nipuna Karnataka Scheme is to partner with IT companies to provide training in emerging and advanced technologies to the youth of the state. Through this, the youth will be able to get training in areas including artificial intelligence, blockchain technology, data analysis and processing, and cloud security services and become self-reliant and empowered. The public-private partnership initiative under the scheme will leverage collaboration with top IT companies for curriculum development, training delivery, internships, and placements. Flexible training models will also be offered under this scheme. Which will include a 50-50 partnership between the government and companies as well as other CSR contribution models.
Facility will be provided in the second phase also
In the second phase under the Nipuna Karnataka Scheme, the program will start role-based training at selected locations including government and private centers. This phase will also include setting up essential facilities such as computer centers and libraries as well as collaborating with product companies for on-the-job training and placements.
