PMAYG Assam First Installment 2024
PMAYG Assam is going to release the First Installment to provide financial assistance for housing to the citizens applying under the PMAY-G scheme. Over 1.71 lakh beneficiaries in the state will get the first installment under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin (PMAY-G) 2.0 during its national launch this weekend by the government. This amount will be transferred to the direct bank account of the citizens through DBT. Which he can use to build his permanent house. When will the first installment come?
The Government of India has extended the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural) for another five years, intending to provide an additional two crore houses across India. Under the new phase of PMAY-G, 171,593 houses have been sanctioned for Assam. How many families have received benefits under the PMAYG scheme?
Das shared that 171,593 houses have been sanctioned for Assam under the new phase of PMAY-G. Under Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, PMAY-G has successfully provided housing to the poorest families in remote areas of Assam. Since 2016, Assam has been allotted a target of 22,23,435 pucca houses, of which 21,22,772 have already been sanctioned. Of these, 19,17,441 have been constructed and 15,13,133 houses have been completed in the last three years.
