Telangana government has launched the Rajiv Gandhi Civils Abhayahastam Scheme to brighten the future of the students of the state. Through this scheme, financial assistance of ₹ 100000 will be provided by the government to the students who qualify for the Civil Services Preliminary Examination of General (EWS Quota) / BC / SC / ST community of the state. So that students will be able to prepare for their main examination. Under this scheme, benefits will be provided to about 400 candidates preparing for the main examination of the Telangana region. - This scheme will provide financial assistance to the students of the General (EWS Quota)/BC/SC/ST community of the state.
- Through this scheme, economically weaker students of the state who have passed the UPSC preliminary exam and now want to prepare for the main exam but are short of money, then an amount of Rs 1 lakh will be provided to them by the government.

Eligibility Criteria
- Applicant must be a permanent resident of Telangana state.
- The annual income of the applicant’s family should not exceed Rs 800000.
- The applicant must belong to the General (EWS), OBC, SC, and ST categories.
- To apply, the applicant must have qualified for the UPSC preliminary examination.
- Applicants can use financial assistance only once to qualify for the Civil Services Examination.
