Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched this scheme on September 17. Under Subhadra Yojana, more than 20 lakh beneficiary women will be benefited in the third phase. Under this scheme, money will be deposited in the bank accounts of the beneficiaries on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan and International Women’s Day (8 March). Beneficiaries will get Rs 10,000 in their bank accounts in two installments in a year. The state government will provide him Rs 50,000 in five years. The government has set a budget of Rs 55,825 crore under this scheme.
As the third phase of Subhadra Yojana approaches, Odisha Deputy CM Pravati Parida advised beneficiaries to link the same bank account with their mobile number for easy transactions. Nearly 5 lakh women have been denied Subhadra benefits as their Aadhaar cards and bank accounts were not linked to mobile numbers. All those whose bank account is linked to the mobile number will get their money during the third phase of the first installment which will be deposited on November 24. “If any genuine beneficiary is still left out, they will get the benefit in the fourth and final phase.”

24 Nov Update:- The third phase of the first installment has reached the accounts of eligible women.
Under the Subhadra scheme, eligible women aged 21 to 60 will receive Rs 50,000 over five years till 2028-29. They will receive Rs 10,000 annually in two equal installments, which will be deposited directly into their bank accounts. Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Sunday (24 November 2024) launched the distribution of funds to 20 lakh women under the ‘Subhadra Scheme’. This was the third phase of wealth distribution. So far, 80 lakh women have received Rs 5,000 as the first installment of the scheme. CM Majhi launched the distribution of the third phase during a function held in Sundergarh district. Deputy CM Pravati Parida said that the fourth and final phase of the first installment will be completed by the end of December, covering more than one crore women.
