Telangana Minority Finance Corporation (TSMFC) has launched TSMFC Free Sewing Machine Scheme to provide free sewing machines to women of minority communities. Through this scheme, free sewing machines will be provided to eligible women in the age group of 18 to 55 years of the state. In the first phase of this scheme, 15000 eligible women of the state will get benefits. With the help of sewing machines, women citizens can increase their employability by working as local tailors. Interested persons can apply for TSMFC schemes before the last date 31st December 2024 through its official website or local district offices.
An MFC official said priority would be given to unemployed women from minority communities including Muslims, Sikhs, Buddhists, Jains and Parsis, the poorest and neediest women, destitute, divorced, widows, orphans and single women.

TSMFC Free Sewing Machine Scheme Objective
The main objective of starting Telangana Indiramma Mahila Scheme is to provide sewing machines to all the selected female citizens so that they can increase their overall income by working as local tailors. Who have completed training in tailoring courses through TGMFC and recognized training institutes to upgrade their skills to empower them and make them self-reliant. To apply, the annual income of the candidate’s parents/guardian should be less than Rs 1.5 lakh in rural areas and up to Rs 2 lakh in urban areas.
