Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has launched CM Kisan Yojana to provide financial assistance to the farmers of the state. Under this scheme, the government will provide Rs 4,000 annually in two equal installments to 45,57,733 small and marginal farmers. To release Odisha CM Kisan Yojana’s 1st Installment, the government has released Rs 925 crore which will be directly transferred to their accounts through DBT. Farmers can use this amount in advance to purchase farming equipment, seeds, fertilizers, and pesticides. Odisha CM Kisan Yojana 1st Installment Released on 8th Sept
Under this scheme, the government will provide Rs 4,000 annually in two installments to about 46 lakh small and marginal farmers. Which will be released on the day of Nuakhai and Akshaya Tritiya. Due to this farmers can use the assistance amount to purchase agricultural equipment, seeds, fertilizers, and pesticides in advance. This assistance amount will be transferred directly to their bank account through DBT.
Which farmers will get the benefit in the first installment?
About 45,57,733 eligible farmers of the state will benefit in the first installment of the CM Kisan Yojana by the government. Under this scheme, an annual amount of Rs 4,000 each in two equal installments will be provided by the government to 45,57,733 eligible farmers. Similarly, landless farmers will be given Rs 12,500 in three equal installments. Rs 925 crore of the first installment will be transferred to their accounts through DBT by the government.
