The Telangana government has launched Indiramma Housing Scheme 2025 for the homeless citizens of the state. Under this scheme, the Telangana government will provide both land and financial assistance to the applicants to build houses. So that all the homeless citizens can build their own permanent house and live in it. The benefit of this scheme will be given to the homeless citizens of Telangana state. For the implementation of the scheme in the current financial year, the Telangana state government has set a total budget of Rs 22,000 crore. Indiramma Housing Scheme First Phase 2025

For the citizens of Telangana state who do not have their own houses, the Telangana government has started the Indiramma Housing Scheme. Telangana government is all set to launch the first phase of the Indiramma Housing Scheme. In the first phase of the scheme, the Telangana state government will construct 4.5 lakh houses for homeless citizens. All houses will be a minimum of 400 square feet and each house will include an RCC roof, kitchen, and toilet. Under this scheme, financial assistance of Rs 5 lakh will be given for the general category and Rs 6 lakh for SC or ST category citizens. So that the number of homeless citizens in the state can be reduced.

The Objective of the Indiramma Housing Scheme

The main objective of starting the Indiramma Housing Scheme is to provide houses to the homeless citizens of the state. So that the number of homeless citizens in the state can be reduced. The benefit of this scheme will be given to those citizens who do not have their own house and are living on rent. All residents who are economically unable to obtain permanent residence will receive monetary and land assistance from the Telangana State Government.

• At present, only those applicants who do not already have a house in urban areas and urban agglomerations will be given plots.
