Mudalvar Marunthagam Scheme 2024
As per the announcement of Chief Minister MK Stalin, the Chief Minister Pharmacy Scheme will be launched with the inauguration of 1000 pharmacies on the day of Pongal. The government will open 1,000 pharmacy outlets in the first phase of this scheme. Due to this expensive medicines will be available in pharmacies at cheaper prices. To effectively implement this scheme, a subsidy of Rs 3 lakh will be provided to pharmacists and cooperative societies. Under the Chief Minister Pharmacy Scheme, this scheme will be started next year on the day of the harvest festival Pongal (January 14, 2025). 1,000 pharmacy outlets will be opened in the first phase. These pharmacies will offer generic medicines at very low prices.
